It is recommended to determine what type of system you have
for more specific information. If you are unable to do that try using the general instructions listed below.

Phone is non-funcional/"dead"

My display used to show the date and time.  How do I get the date and time back?


Phone is non-functional/"dead"

Make sure that the cord is a 4 conductor cord. Make sure that the cord
coming from the wall/jack is plugged into the phone.

The Phone used to ring, but suddenly stopped
On some non-display phones, there is a switch on the side of the phone, move it off then back on to ring.
On most display phones, make sure that the display does not show "RNGOFF".
The volume can be modified when the phone is idle using the volume dial or the volume switch.

Message Waiting light is on, but I have no new messages
Press intercom then the “Message” button, and pick up the phone that rings.

When people call my extension, they ring but never get to my voicemail
When the phone is idle, is the FWD/DND button flashing? Is the voicemail working correctly? Call the office of
Key Communications, Inc. for more assistance.

My display used to show the date and time.  How do I get the date and time back?

When the phone is idle, press the * (star) key until the display shows the date and time.
